Orange acquires 16% of its Malagasy subsidiary held by Kibo, Terra Mauricia and Thierry Lagesse

These minority shareholders of Orange Madagascar, the Red Island mobile leader, acquired a stake in 2010. The French group now controls nearly 88% of its subsidiary.

The Kibo Capital Partners fund, the diversified c sold their 16% stake in Orange Madagascar to the Orange group in January 2021, according to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources.
