Orange head Alioune Ndiaye seeks to extend Mowali with MTN across the continent

The operator’s Africa boss wants to replicate the joint venture announced in 2018 and launched last May in Morocco on a continental scale.

During The Africa Financial Industry Summit—held on 10 – 11 March and organised by the Africa CEO Forum (Jeune Afrique Media Group) and the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC)—the director of the Orange MEA zone, Alioune Ndiaye, stated he had grand ambitions for Mowali achieving “total interoperability on the continent”.
