In October 2019, the “Connoisseur” of the continent, Stéphane Bacquaert, joined Adenia Partners Ltd., the company created by Antoine Delaporte in Mauritius in 2002. Managing Partner Bacquaert, a graduate of IEP Paris and Harvard, was previously head of Wendel Africa. Speaking from Casablanca, he spoke exclusively to Jeune Afrique Business+ about Adenia’s strategy, projects and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the private equity sector.
