Amethis completes €85 million first closing for its MENA Fund II 

According to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources, the vehicle has performed well with more than 71% of its final target of €120 million already raised.

The participants in this first round of Amethis MENA Fund II are mostly international financial institutions, regular supporters of Amethis in forming its funding vehicles. Among others, the European Investment Bank (EIB), Proparco, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) were involved.
