The Norwegian institution signed its first loan for two years in the country. Jean-Luc Konan, for his part, has received his second funding from a Northern European institution in just over 12 months.

The last allocation of $12.5 million, validated with the Dutch FMO in May 2020, was for support for more than 2,000 SMEs in the Ivorian and Senegalese territories. This time, the scale has been reduced with a more modest amount. In addition, only Senegalese companies will be targeted. Thus, Cofina’s subsidiary, active since 2012 in the land of Teraanga, will benefit from a loan of 50.9 million Norwegian kroner (€5 million) from Norfund to expand its customer base.
