Morocco’s large solar power plants insurance contracts unveiled
RMA has won the long-term insurance contracts for three power plants in the Moroccan kingdom. Two other insurers are sharing risks that could reach $2 billion.

For Bank of Africa-affiliated Royale Marocaine d’Assurance (RMA), the amount of insurance coverage for risks, including physical damage and business interruption related to a combined generating capacity of 135 MW, remains limited to $200 million.
