The consultants behind Habibo’s take over of Shoprite in Madagascar
The Madagascan family-owned food group, chaired and managed by Malik Karmaly, is buying the ten supermarkets of the South African retailer Shoprite in Madagascar, with a total surface area of almost 10,000 m2, for a sum that is still confidential.

As part of this takeover of Shoprite, which will be effective from 2022, Habibo signed a commercial partnership with the French cooperative group Système U.
