Sonatel & Orange excluded from Mattel Mauritania takeover

The French operator and its West African branch have failed to extend its network in Mauritania.

Sonatel and Orange submitted a non-binding offer for Mattel in September, but their application was not chosen as part of the due diligence process currently underway and therefore cannot make a binding offer,” said a person familiar with the matter, before clarifying that “Sonatel/Orange is no longer involved in this process”.
