After several months of legal disputes between the company B2Gold – via its subsidiary Menankoto Sarl – and the Ministry of Mines concerning the renewal of the Menankoto South permit, the block is finally no longer the subject of an application by Little Big Mining.

Menankoto Sarl, which invested around $27 million in discovering a deposit on Menankoto South, will now be able to obtain the exploration licence in question once again following a commitment to do so from the mining administration.
