PAIX Data Centres’ Wouter van Hulten welcomes Africa50 in a $20 million investment round
Africa business+ has exclusively learned of the arrival of the pan-African investor in the data centre management company.

Founded in 2016 Dutchman Wouter van Hulten, in Gauteng, South Africa, the journey of Pan African Internet Exchange (PAIX) Data Centres began in 2018 with the purchase of a small data centre operator in Ghana that had been operating since 2011. PAIX is now pushing ahead following an investment by the pan-African platform, Africa50. Van Hulten is an ex-vice-president: corporate development of the European reference in data centres, Interxion.
