Will it be an amicable divorce between Castel and Coca-Cola?

According to Africa Business+ sources, the French industrial group and the US giant Coca-Cola are negotiating to stop the production of the American brand’s drinks in the African countries where Castel is present.

“For the moment, we have no information. We will communicate officially in due course. It is not Brakina [Castel‘s subsidiary in Burkina] that is stopping the production of Coca-Cola, the decision concerns all countries where Castel is active, and the negotiations are going in the direction of the separation with the Coca-Cola group,” said our Africa Business+ source – a local Castel group executive interviewed on condition of anonymity.
