CGPS head Mouni Naré signs contract with Loryne on €15m Trans-Saharan fibre optic corridor

The Burkinabe duo is back on the interconnection project between Niger, Algeria, Nigeria and Chad via a 1,510 km fibre optic line.

The consortium, awarded the Niger component in November 2019 for the equivalent of €25.69 million, won the Chad component on 27 June 2022, which was the final link in the Trans-Saharan Dorsal project (DTS) covering the implementation of infrastructure for the Chad-Niger interconnection.
