Mohamed Ammar, CEO of the Société tunisienne de l’électricité et de gaz (STEG), is continuing to implement phase 1 of its smart grid project.

On 15 July, it selected the bids of Sagemcom Tunisie, Siame and local cable tenors – Tunisie Câbles, Super Câbles, Chakira Câble and Vega Câbles – to supply low-voltage smart meters, metering panels and low-voltage connection cables.
