After the contract with the US company Motran in 2020 for a multi-currency automated transfer system, the project to modernise the financial infrastructure of the Central Bank of Mauritania has entered a new phase.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritania (BCM), Mohamed Lemine Dheby, recently signed a contract with the Indian banking software company Intellect Design Arena Limited for the procurement and implementation of a core banking system and an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
