Pembani Remgro’s Herc van Wyk and Kofi Adjepong-Boateng approach EIB for a second fund

The South African company targets infrastructure on the continent, mainly in brownfields.

The first fund of Pembani Remgro Infrastructure Managers closed at around €302 million in 2016. Institutions and private investors joined in these several rounds of financing. On the institutional side, the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), the DEG and the British BII (then known as CDC) had thrown in their weight.
