Razel Bec sees slowdown in activity in Central Africa as it awaits payment in Chad

Launched in N’Djamena with an initial contract with the French army (see Africa Business+, July 8, 2021), the construction group has signed other contracts with the Chadian government. However, for the moment it is taking a long time to obtain full payment.

According to Africa Business+ sources, the construction of the hangars intended to house the Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft of the Chadian armed forces has been stalled for several months. Located in the middle of N’Djamena international airport and close to the Fort Lamy military base, the infrastructure is awaiting the final touches, in particular its connecting ramp, before being fully operational.
