Paystack will launch in Egypt by year-end, followed by Côte d’Ivoire 

The Nigerian fintech, in the process of acquiring a licence for its fifth market in Africa, will start its activities in the land of the Pharaohs. It is also keeping Côte d’Ivoire in its sights as its first French-speaking market.

After Ghana in 2018, South Africa in 2021 and Kenya late last year, Paystack, founded by Shola Akinlade and Ezra Olubi in 2015, will expand its operations in Egypt by the end of 2023, according to Africa Business+ sources.
