STOA expands African solar footprint with Equator Energy
The Infrastructure Impact Fund, launched in 2017 by Caisse de Dépôts and Agence Française de Développement, has acquired the leading solar C&I company in the East African region. It’s now targeting the western flank.

This brings to three the number of deals that STOA Infra & Energy CEO Marie-Laure Mazaud and her teams have completed in the African solar C&I market. These include the acquisition of a stake in Kenya’s Equator Energy.
