ONEE Director General Abderrahim El Hafidi takes on the EBRD for €200 million sustainable bonds

Plagued by the energy crisis, the Moroccan National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water is refinancing itself via a first-ever sustainable bond issue to finance its greening.

This will be the first operation of its kind in Morocco. The €200 million in Sustainability-Linked Loans (SLL) will be fully subscribed to by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
