Norrsken22 VC fund close to $200m landing

Led by international tech founders, the vehicle aims to be one of the largest endowments in the segment in Africa.

The bet of Norrsken22‘s two founders, Hans Sterling and Niklas Adalberth, is about to pay off. According to Africa Business+ sources, their VC fund, backed by founders of African and international unicorns – including Flutterwave, DeliveryHero, Klarna and Skype – is close to its third and final closing at $200 million. With formalisation expected by the end of the semester, the Norrsken22 African Tech Growth Fund is expected to reach its target in the coming weeks.
