COGEB beats Sogea-Satom to Ouagadougou water treatment contract

The local company has seen off competition from the Vinci group subsidiary. Financing for the project is being provided by the West African Development Bank.

The restricted call for tenders, launched in March 2019, was considered this January. COGEB International SA was selected with a bid valued at 14.49bn CFA francs (€22.07m), while Sogea-Satom had put forward a bid of 17.67bn CFA francs (€26.92m).
