Shell Nigeria faces more legal attacks
The Anglo-Dutch oil giant is facing new litigation in Nigeria.

In the fiscal year 2020, Jeune Afrique Business + noted that Shell Nigeria Ultra Deep Ltd, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Ltd (SNEPCO), and a third party which included Nigeria Agip Exploration Ltd (NAE), were subject to criminal charges in Nigeria and that proceedings were underway. Shell, unreachable at the time of writing, had not provided us with further information on the matter when we went to press.
