Electricity: Easy win for KEC International for DR Congo – Burundi interconnection
The Indian company won the tender in which all the competitors were eliminated in the preliminary round.

Listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, KEC International will implement the electricity interconnection contract between Kamayola in DR Congo and Bujumbura in Burundi. Its bid of $21.93 million was not the lowest, but the group did not have to compete with the big names in the field interested in the project.
