Cathay and Africinvest VC fund enters home stretch
The VC fund, launched before the pandemic by the two private equity specialists Cathay and Africinvest, has entered the home stretch and is due to close soon.

After an initial announcement in early 2019, little information was subsequently circulated around the fundraising of the Cathay AfricInvest Innovation Fund, Africinvest‘s first VC vehicle on the continent. However, Africa Business+ recently learned that a final round of funding is being conducted almost three years after the launch.
