Hassan Belkhayat piloting i3 programme on health start-ups in Africa

With the support of the Gates Foundation and the Merck Group, the co-founder of the Moroccan consulting firm Southbridge A&I is seeing the realisation of a programme that he prefigured in association with his Canadian partner Salient Advisory.

For the launch of the Investing in Innovation (i3) programme targeting healthtech, Hassan Belkhayat, co-director of Southbridge A&I, gathered several sponsors. These include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Auda-Nepad, i.e. the African Union Development Agency, the Africa division of the World Health Organisation (WHO AFRO) and two US pharmaceutical groups, Merck & Co and AmerisourceBergen (distribution).
