Tarek Fayed-led Bank of Cairo looks to strengthen microfinance activity
The head of the Egyptian institution intends to develop the supply of loans to under-banked populations and is negotiating with international organisations for this purpose.

Active since 1952, Banque du Caire (BdC) is seeking to broaden its client portfolio by convincing new entrants to the banking market with reduced loan envelopes. According to a document we consulted, BdC is exchanging with foreign financing organisations and notably with the European Investment Bank on this point.
