Mulliez family’s Creadev Africa team

The investment holding company of the Mulliez family (Auchan, Casino, Décathlon, Boulanger) continues its expansion on the African continent. The latest investment in mid-April was a Series B offering of $35 million raised for the aquaculture company Victory Farm. Africa Business+ reports on Creadev’s Africa team.

The group has been active in Africa for several years with interests in the logistics platform Twiga Foods (Kenya), Spark Schools (South Africa), Rocket Health (Uganda), and the independent renewable energy producer Voltalia, in which it holds a 71% stake. Voltalia is developing its activities in some 20 African countries (solar, wind, small hydro, biomass and storage).
