The Israeli telco is expanding its operations across the entire African continent and continues to focus on landlocked regions underserved by telecommunications infrastructure.

“We have the capability to go wherever we want in terms of coverage, but we are particularly targeting growing markets, such as Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and Tanzania,” Amir Cohen, Vice President of Operations and Engineering at Gilat Telecom, told Jeune Afrique Business+.
