Actis to invest $1.2 billion in African energy
The British private equity firm has strengthened its Actis Energy 5 fund and set its priorities on the continent.

According to Africa Business+ sources, the vehicle will invest a quarter of its total funds – valued at $4.7 billion – in Africa. This represents about $1.17 billion in total spending.
