Actis invested in Azura Power in 2016. With offices in London, Abuja, Dakar, Port Louis in Cape Town and Dbayeh in Lebanon, the entity aims to become a leader in power generation on the continent with over 3 GW of assets. It is positioned to bring additional capacity to the national electricity grids of African countries by developing gas-fired power plants or converting existing units to gas.
