Managing director Éric Pol, who has more than 30 years of experience in the Franco-US M&A business, is entering the home stretch for the Sunrise Fund. After last year’s closing of €5 million, the second and final closing, set at €30 million, is due to occur before the end of July. According to Africa Business+ sources, the final commitments will come from two DFIs with whom the teams in Brussels – the fund’s European base – are currently conducting due diligence.
