Mirova (Natixis) acquires SunFunder ahead of Gigaton Empowerment Fund launch

French asset management company, Mirova, a leader in impact and socially responsible investment affiliated with Natixis Investment Managers, is taking 100% control of US company SunFunder. Founded by Audrey Desiderato and Ryan Levinson ten years ago as a participatory financing platform for decentralised solar operators in Africa, SunFunder has launched several debt funds with a total value of $165 million.
